RIESLING GRAND CRU EICHBERG 2014
That excellent plot of land located on the Grand Cru Eichberg of Eguisheim (Eichberg means “Oak tree hillside”), with a very chalky subsoil, is particularly adapted to the Riesling vines. The aromas of mineral elements and of lemon and grapefruit predominate when tasting this low-yield wine, which is very dry and which lingers long on the palate. This wine will become more complex as time goes by, which gives to it a great potential for improvement, so it can (and should) be kept for some years in your cellar.
Wine pairing : Fish, shell fish, seafood, poultry cooked in sauce, grilled prawns, sauerkraut.
Aging potential : In 2 years and during 8 years
