This Pinot Gris Grand Cru Pfersigberg has a beautiful pale yellow color. The nose is intense with notes of ripe yellow fruits, like quince and mirabelle plum, and honey. The mouth is complex and greedy, with aromas of fig and quince. This wine is powerful with a nice freshness on the finish.
From plots cultivated on the Pfersigberg terroir, the soil is of clay-limestone type. The grapes are harvested by hand, pressed gently and aged in hundred-year-old oak barrels.
